Just wrapped up our open water season at Brindley's. We got the cabins winterized, docks removed, boats put away, slipcovers removed, and some odds and ends to finish up. We definitely have a lot of leaves to clean up, but that's all part of running a resort. We want to thank all our guests who have stayed with us this year and all our employees for all their hard work.
Father's Day Weekend is always a busy weekend at Brindley's Harbor. We have had lots of families in the past and present who are repeat guests...memories and traditions have been made and we are always happy to see them come back year after year. Along comes with that is when kids grow up and start their own families.
We are seeing signs of Spring...weather warming up and the harbor and lake are thawing out nicely...not to mention beautiful sunset reflecting on the harbor! We are a little over two weeks to fishing opener and lots to get ready for, but we are excited after a long winter, weather is warming up and we will be right on schedule. Within the next two weeks, our crew will be putting in docks and boat slips, cleaning up cabins, getting rental boats ready for...
Ice fishing on Leech Lake continues to be a popular attraction. We have been doing guided ice fishing packages for 23 years and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests who have stayed with us during any of those winter seasons. Even though we just came through the worst conditions we have ever seen on the lake, we plan on hitting it hard again next year. For anyone that has not stayed with us a typical stay includes a team of on ice guides that go out and fish with yo...
As we start winding down at Brindley's for the regular season, there's still a lot of work to do behind the scenes. The docks are getting removed, boats are getting winterized and put away, and some of the cabins getting winterized and shut down for the winter. We cannot thank our staff enough for making this season another successful operation to make our guests' stay enjoyable.

The 4th of July at Brindley's Harbor turned out to be a beautiful day despite the big chance of rain. Everyone is out enjoying the weather...swimming in the beach, fishing, tubing, sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. The lake is also warm enough to refresh yourself.
As summer starts to set in and lake is getting warmer, we finally put the trampoline out! School is out and we are getting more families with kids staying at Brindley's Harbor Resort. We also have a new set of docks installed recently near our sandy beach area. Our docks are used for fishing, or when you just want to jump off and swim during the summer months, or just plain hang out.
One of the services we offer at Brindley's is renting out our fleet of boats to our guests. We have a variety of boat rentals from 17' to 20' with 70 HP up to 150 HP. All boats come with fish locators with GPS, live wells, electric trolling motors (optional), nets, life preservers, and lights.
Ice fishing season may have been done a month and a half ago, but for the last time, it happened this weekend. As the ice keeps melting and breaking apart from the edges, we were still able to walk on parts of the lake to go fishing.Usually around this time of the year is the best time to perch fish. But with the late winter weather in Spring and not being able to go on the boat to explore other areas, we were not expecting to find the right spot.
Our ice fishing operation for the season just wrapped up a few days ago. We want to say thank you to all our guests for your business and to our guides who have put in a lot of time and effort looking for fish for our guests this winter. We look forward to our open water fishing in the next couple of months.
